GOTY 2015

WHile I expect a white girl with blonde hair and blue eyes (much like myself in looks) Who likes some sort of 'Girly' sport (dancing, gymnastics, ect.) SHe'll have a perfect life except some, slightly pitiful challenge American Girl will throw over her, hover I can not help but hope they will have a black doll, with disabilities, a life that isn't perfect, and have her not be perfect, I myself am not perfect, my best friend isn't, my neighbor isn't, no one is. Unfortunately, American girl doesn't seem to notice that.
Let's look at the past Girl Of The Years:

Linsey, I don't know much about her, but you can tell American Girl did a better job of envisioning girls around this time.

Kailey, all I can think is BLONDE! Oh well, american girl hadn't gone overboard yet.
I just think they could've made Marisol better, like make a new, latino face mold, I like the illustrations of her better, over all.

Well, she's asian, but she's a privileged, healthy girl. Not in my option, creative, though I do think she's gorgeous, and i would die for her meet outfit.
Personally, I think Nicky's great in terms of that she lives on a ranch, has to do chores, and her family isn't the richest, even so, there still hasn't been a black GOTY yet.

Mia is probably one of my favorites, I love how her family has money troubles, and how realistic her relationship with her brothers is, also, first redheaded GOTY!

Okay, i love the theme for these dolls, bullying, that's a huge part of many girl's lives (though personally not my own) and look at Sonali's skin tone! All in all, american girl did do well that year.

i love the nature aspect of her books, but i think as far as her looks go, she could've been more creative, if though she is cute.

Where can I start, her hair, for one, unrealistically long, her skin, they couldn't have gone full out? i think this doll was made to be pretty, and not really to send a message to anyone.

Not the most creative, I  like that she struggles with reading though. Her friendship troubles are good, though I think the gymnastics is portrayed much more picture perfectly than real competitive teams are.

Finally art and more of that gorgeous red hair, when she came out I was sooooooo happy that finally a GOTY made a fundraiser, but again, she has a reeeeeally good life.

Blonde? Dance? Mean kids? Being stuck under a siblings shadow? Seriously, American girl seemed ilk ether were in a rush-and not very creative mood- when thy made her, and also. Why all the sequins in her collection?

In 2015 or at least 2016, I want a black doll, who doesn't have a picture perfect life, and who has a disability, and maybe even gets teased for it?
