Meet Melody, New Beforever Character!

Melody appears to be a new Beforever doll to be released in 2016. She is placed in Michigan in the 1960's. From her cover she looks like she's going to have dark skin, brown eyes, side-bangs and perhaps an Addy facemold. She looks like she's going to be an adorable, diverse doll and I'm super excited to bring you more updates on her!

American Girl Teams Up with WWF for 2016

In my previous post I talked about GOTY 2016 - Lea Clark. She was released on January 1st.

GOTY 2016?

FINALLY the leaks are out. The new GOTY is confirmed. Her name will be Leah Clark, I can't say I'm overly thrilled with what her story seems to be turning out to be, but the doll herself is cute and hopefully we can add her to the list of non-white AG dolls.

 

Here is a front and back view of her. Her hair seems manageable and her eyes are pretty, but not seeing much creativeness here.

 

Here's a close-up of her, looks like she'll have eyes similar to Caroline's though they seem a little bluer to me. Her face appears to be the Josephina face-mold, though she may have her own new face-mold.

And Lastly, her outfit. Again, not loving it. The colors and patterns seem mis-matches but the dress's cut is cute. Her sandals seem a little funky, But I kind of like them. I assume she'll have underwear and perhaps a hairpiece of some jewelry.

Isabelle Comes to Visit!

Hey guys! So, my best friend and I swapped dolls and it was SO FUN. I got her Isabelle and mini Izzy and she got Savannah! Here are some photos I took:

New Beforever Character?

Is There a New Beforever Character?

Last year rumors were flying around the American Girl internet about a new supposed historical character. But recently American Girl announced a new Beforever character! I'm super excited.

Meet Maryellen, a girl who doesn't quite fit in but finds a way to live life her own way.

Her time period is the 1950's and she appears to have ginger waves with either side bangs or fringe, light green eyes and no freckles. I think she's super cute.

And, you guessed it, she gets an adorable mini doll.

A Trip With Me To The American Girl Store, San Fransisco!

Hey everyone! It's Hyatt. So, Ilast January I visited the american Girl place in San Francisco (warning: it's actually a little less than a an hour away from San Fransisco)

SO, since January is coming up and I never posted a post about it, I thought I might as well do it now!

SO, foreword, the San Fransisco American Girl place is a a little small, especially since I, (being someone from the East Coast) often go to the New York one, which is quite bog. It was really interesting to see the differences.

In honor of Marie Grace and Cecile's not-so-recent retirement, here's a picture of them.

I was super excited to see Kit, and this is pretty much what mine looks like. Every time I see her I'm so glad I have her. I would completely recommend her, by the way.

Here are all the adorable mini dolls.

The Bitty Twins look so cute in their new pajamas and trundle bed.

And here's Isabelle, almost retired.

Savannah was so excited to see Isabelle's studio, and the person at American Girl let me let her try it

out.
